Mixing Shake-N-Bait

1–Take plastic bag from jar; pour water in jar to line only.
2–Pour colored bait powder in jar; replace lid.
3–Shake by hitting left palm with top of jar 5 times; hit the bottom of jar on right palm 5 times. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds. If necessary use provided stir stick.
Bait should be ready in less than a minute. If too wet or sticky, add a little of the white powder to thicken.
4–Form enough of a bait ball to cover hook.

Using Automatic Survival Fishing Reel

1–Attach hook to swivel. If in swift water, add sinker to line.
2–Fasten line at top of reel to a suitable object: tree limb, brush, stick, deadfall, boat, etc.
3–Adjust reel to desired tension by winding line on reel clockwise for strong tension and unwinding line off the reel for slack tension, until hook is 2 to 6 inches above water.
4–Bait hook with Shake-N-BaitTM dough.
5–Place reel in palm of hand and pull down on line to the desired depth; press down on the back arm of the trigger and ease back on line until trigger arm engages in slot of reel. A slight pull on the line will trip the trigger and reel in the fish.
6–Add a drop of oil occasionally to the trigger pin.
7–If reel binds, insert flat object under arbor and twist slightly to increase clearance.
